Welcome
As the 2008 President of The Richmond Meet its my great pleasure to welcome you all to a fun-packed and exciting weekend. Personally I can tell you that I am looking forward to it with great expectations.
I have been a member of the Meet since 1989. Most of my weekends have been spent as a member of the black hand gang, from 1990 to 2003. As an "honorary" working in the background to ensure that everything runs smoothly and then once finished, to ensure everything has been cleared away and stored for next year. I have also been courtesy car driver over many weekends ferrying various people from event to event. During the rest of the year I have worked closely with the ladies committee, I have been treasurer for four years - my specialty being tombolas.
