The 2009 Richmond Meet President Mr Barry Proctor
It is a honour to have been chosen to represent The Richmond Meet as president for 2009: this is my second time a president, my first being in 1995
A president I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the people who take part in all the activities over the meet weekend, we have all the usual events on offer this year including top class cycling with competitions taking place throughout the week,(see this programme for details) a scateboard competition in Ronaldshay park, Live music and many stalls in the Friary Gardens both Sunday and Monday, and all the fun of the fair in the market place. We start the Monday off with the Richmond Meet Parade with many entrants returning year after year to take part, not only isit great fun and not to be missed but there are cash prizes to be won too, so come to Richmond and enjoy the event of the year, and most of all enjoy yourself
