2000 Mr Chris J Watson Esq

It is with great pleasure that I greet you as president of The Richmond Meet for the year of 2000. May Elaine and I take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to all our friends, Visitors and patrons to the Meet weekend?

I am very honored to be president for a second time. The first time, for those of you who think it was only a few years ago, was infact 10 years ago. Our children were then three and six years old. This time around there is a contribution to the weekend by the whole family. You’ll see Jonathan over the weekend in his fluorescent jacket helping out at the different venues, Kimberley Designed this years badge and Elaine by my side is keeping me on the straight and narrow – Straight-ish

We owe many thanks to the “Meet” committee and their band of merry helpers (merry if you have ever had a drink of grapefruit in the friary gardens) who have been working together to ensure a spectacular weekend for all the family.

So all we need now is nice fine weather and to meet you over the weekend enjoying yourselves and having fun.
