Greetings from the President 2004

It is with great pleasure that I greet you as President of the Richmond Meet for the year 2004 and we hope you all, young and not so young have a brilliant weekend with us.

Peter and I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to all our Patrons, friends and visitors, old and new, to this year's Meet. Also we would like to say a big thank you to you all for supporting us over this exciting and busy weekend. The object of The Meet is to provide a weekend of entertainment for visitors and the people of Richmond and also to raise money for local needs of all kinds.

I am very honoured to be President as I have only been involved with the Meet for nine years, for the last six years I have been Charities Co-Ordinator and over the past year with your support and generosity we have given away nearly Six Thousand Pounds. You can see details of where this money has gone further on in this programme.

So, all I can do is wish for good weather and we look forward to seeing you and chatting with you over the weekend, enjoying yourselves and having lots and lots of fun!
