2005 Mrs Pauline Dowse

It is with great pride and pleasure that I, as President of The Richmond Meet for 2005, warmly invite friends, patrons, members, helpers and visitors to join us in having a great time over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend. We have a dedicated team of workers who have put together a varied programme of events solely for that purpose.

I have been in The Richmond Meet for over twenty five years having spent seventeen of those years being Secretary to the Ladies Committee so you can imagine when people heard of my Presidency there were lots of comments ‘it’s about time!’

I hope we have another successful year and pray we have good weather but even if we don’t I can assure you all it will not dampen our spirits.

My husband Lou and myself sincerely hope that you all enjoy yourselves and please do come and have a chat with us or give us a wave.
