It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to the 118th Richmond Meet.
We have had an interesting and exiting year getting ready for this Bank
Holiday.
When I was nominated as president for this year I was truly, and
wonderfully surprised. I thought that given the track records of previous
presidents, I would have to spend at least another 10 years working
with the meet before they would even consider me for such an amazing
honour - so now it looks like I'll just have to do my time afterwards
My very special thanks go to absolutely everyone who has helped us in
any way this year - If you feel like joining us for the
future just give me a ring on 01748 823456 and you will be welcomed
with open arms!
Please enjoy the weekend, Spend lots of money and give generously to
the charity collectors whenever you meet them.....and please remember
with gratitude the life of Alan Wilcox who gave so much to Richmond and
the the Meet in Particular.
