The Richmond Meet Program of events

Cycling completions take place over the weekend, organised by the Richmond Cycling club in conjunction with the Richmond Meet – further details within the program which are available in the market square or anyone of the meet organisors.

Sunday

1:30pm Friary Gardens – Music Stalls, Refreshments, (provided by The Richmond Meet Ladies Committee from 1:30) plus entertainment for all the family. Climbing Wall, Splat & Pillow bash, Bouncy Castle, Wrecking Ball, Bungee Run, Gladiator Dual, Sumo Suits for adults and children are being provided free of charge, Displays, Stalls, Richmond Operatic and much more.

Monday

9:15am Carnival procession and fancy dress assembly prior to judging in nuns close car park

10:00am The Richmond Meet Grand Carnival Procession through the Town from Nuns Close car park – Cravengate – through Newbiggin and rosemary lane into Victoria Road and King Street finishing in the market Square

After the parade refreshments will be available in the town and friary gardens kindly provided by The Richmond Meet Ladies Committee

From 11:30am – Various entertainments will be ongoing during the day in Friay Gardens – dancing, tombola and a whole lot more fun. The Richmond Meet Grand Draw will take place at 4:00pm by the Meet President

9:00am – The Richmond Meet Six–a-side football with Geoff Hunter Annual memorial Completion at The Earls Orchard Ground

9:45am The Richmond Meet Presidents Procession from Richmond Town Hall for morning service to be held at 10:00am at St Mary’s Church Richmond

8:00pm The Richmond Meet Annual Quiz at The Richmond Cricket Club

Monday
